DMJ Lagoni continues his training with Martina Hannöver-Sternberg

Our promising Lauries Crusador xx-offspring DMJ LAGONI now continues his training with the famous instructor and Grand Prix-rider Martina Hannöver-Sternberg (GER).

Martina Hannöver-Sternberg apprenticed with Herbert Rehbein on Grönwohldhof before she started to work on the Vorwerk Farm in Cappeln/Germany. Among others, she competed with the famous stud stallion Rubinstein and apart from various Grand Prix-successes, both won the prestigious Nürnberg Cup Final.

In 1999, Martina Hannöver-Sternberg started her own training business and in the meantime, she has been introducing many horses to Grand Prix-sport.  She earned various high placements at German Champion-ships. As she had been training the Portuguese dressage team for years too, she enjoys an excellent reputation as trainer and instructor worldwide.

During this time, Martina Hannöver-Sternberg also trained our Rubinstein-offspring DMJ RUBENS. Together they won and placed at various national and international classes at advanced dressage level.

Dam Line

DMJ LAGONI’s sister, state premium mare AROSA, completed a successful mare performance test: Judges and test riders awarded the perfect score of 10.0 for her rideability. She is the dam of the well-known breed stallion and winner of dressage show classes RICCIONE (dressage evaluation of 148 points). RICCIONE’s rideability was also judged with a 10.0.

Riccione - Winner of dressage show classes in 1998

RICCIONE was the reserve winner of his stallion performance test in 1998.
He won the rideabiity evaluation with 144,86 points.

As a young horse, RICCIONE won riding horse ability classes and championships with scores of 9.0 and higher. At his stallion performance test, he underlined the excellent reputation he has with breeders all over Europe: He was the unbeaten champion of the rideability evaluation (two test rider scores of 10.0) and the reserve champion of the whole competition.

RICCIONE won various medium level dressage tests and is trained up to Grand Prix-level. His convincing offspring are true to type and present impressive, high-quality basic gaits. He is the sire of a dozen of licensed sons. Apart from various competitors placed at the finals of Federal Championships and state premium mares, two of his licensed sons were the reserve champions at their stallion licensing and two were the reserve winners of their stallion performance test.

Wonderful - Reserve Champion in Verden in 1991

DMJ LAGONI’s dam, state premium mare BONGA, descends from the successful lineage stallion BOLERO (dressage evaluation of 126 points). Because of his countless successful dressage offspring, he ranked at the top of the WBFSH-rankings for a couple of years. This is certainly an impressive accomplishment because he only reached the age of 12.

State premium mare BONNY is the full sister of DMJ LAGONI’s dam and the dam of the Celle state stud stallion WONDERFUL (dressage evaluation of 132 points). He was the reserve champion of the stallion licensing in Verden in 1991.

Granddam ARKA is the full sister of the Celle state stud stallion AGA KHAN. The great-granddam, state premium mare DUELLGIRL, won the prestigious DLG-prize, one of the most valuable German awards.

More than 20 licensed stallions descend from this successful show and dressage dam line, among them the Celle state stud stallions BOGENSCHÜTZE, LAURENT and the winner of show classes MARMOR.
